I don't know the name of this flower, but it was my absolute favorite when visiting the Munsinger Gardens on the Mississippi River (right across from campus). The amazing thing is that this group of buds was only the size of... (*Amy thinking of something to compare it to*)... the cap of a normal sized water bottle! (only round). Which means the individual buds were even tinier! Basically, astonishing. How does nature think of these type of things? (And if the size isn't enough to blow your mind, the colors are just ravishing! Extremely cheerful. I hope to go back and take more pictures before the weather gets too cold!)
